PF01 - Brat Farrar S/T - Cassette

Taking his DIY approach to the ultimate level BRAT FARRAR comes rumbling out of a Melbourne bedroom with tunes that move from new wave garage through to noisy grunge and industrial tinged punk. At the core of the BRAT FARRAR sound is his trademark songwriting and guitar styling.

Leaving behind his previous life as frontman of such well respected garage-punk acts as Digger and The Pussycats, Kamikaze Trio and Russian Roulettes BRAT FARRAR has been reborn a one-man all singing all dancing, new wave machine.

In his native Australia BRAT FARRAR has already caused a big rumble touring major cities and generally causing a ruckus playing shows alongside Guitar Wolf, Mark Sultan (BBQ), Future of The Left plus the who’s who of the current Australian underground.

In 2011 BRAT FARRAR’s unleashed his debut 45 “It’s on Me” on German label P Trash and now follows it up with his self titled debut long player “Brat Farrar” in March 2012. The album was written, recorded, mixed and mastered solely by BRAT FARRAR who also played all the instruments as well. BRAT FARRAR has been described as the perfect mix of Blood Visions era Jay Reatard, Per Ubu, Chrome, The Spits, Suicide, Digital Leather, The Pagans, Wire and the Butthole Surfers.

Featuring an alternative track list which also contains hits from Brat Farrar's first single (originally released on P. Trash) Popular Favourites is proud to present Brat Farrar's first full length album on cassette.
